On 29 and 30 June 2017, Professor Michele CHANG organized at the College of Europe, Bruges campus, a first workshop as part of the research project "Political economy of euro area bailouts: European and domestic perspectives".
The research project aims to assess the impact of the conditionality programmes undertaken by Ireland, Greece, Spain and Portugal as well as the situation of Italy. Participants in the workshop presented the preliminary results of their research on this topic and discussed common approaches.
