Stefan FRÖHLICH

Stefan Fröhlich (DE) est professeur de politique internationale et d’économie politique à l’Université d’Erlangen-Nuremberg depuis 2003. Il a étudié les sciences politiques, l’économie, l’anglais et l’espagnol à Bonn, Paris, Oxford, Washington et Philadelphie (MA 1985). Il est titulaire d’un doctorat en sciences politiques (1989) et d’une habilitation (Dr.phil.habil 1996) du département de sciences politiques de l’Université de Bonn.

Stefan Fröhlich était directeur du programme d’études européennes du Centre d’études sur l’intégration européenne à Bonn (1998-2002); Professeur invité au Centre pour les relations transatlantiques, Université Johns Hopkins, Washington, DC (2002/03); Professeur invité au Centre international de recherche Woodrow Wilson, Washington, DC (2007); Senior Fellow à l’Académie transatlantique du German Marshall Fund des États-Unis à Washington DC (septembre 2016-mai 2017); et professeur invité à l’Université Otago, Nouvelle-Zélande (août -septembre 2019). Depuis 1998, il est également professeur invité aux universités d’Anvers, Bonn, Bologne, Boston, Milan, Innsbruck, Vienne, Tübingen, Budapest, Birmingham, Londres, Moscou, Zurich et Washington. Il est Senior Fellow au Centre d’études sur l’intégration européenne à Bonn (CEI) depuis 2002.

Ses domaines d’intérêts comprennent : la politique étrangère et de sécurité de l’UE, les relations transatlantiques, la politique étrangère allemande, l’économie politique internationale. Il est l’auteur de nombreux ouvrages et de plus de 200 articles.
