College of Europe graduates often achieve positions of responsibility in policy and business environments. In order to prepare our students for the tasks they will have to carry out and the challenges they are likely to encounter after their studies the Economics Department has organised a series of lectures on how economic reasoning and tools are used in policy formulation and policy enforcement.
In each session EU Officials and experts will provide the audience with valuable insights drawn on real cases that demonstrate the use and possibly misuse of economics.
The first lecture will be given by Dr Vincent VEROUDEN - Deputy Chief Economist at DG Comp – and it will have as a title:
How Economics Made a Difference … to the EU Rules on Regional Investment Aid
27th of November | 17:30 - Room G | Dijver Campus
The lecture will be public and open to all professors and students of the College of Europe.
