The Opening Ceremony of the seventy-fifth academic year of the College of Europe – Bruges Campus will take place in the Concert Hall (‘t Zand, Bruges) on Monday, 28 October 2024, at 14:30.
We are pleased to announce that our keynote speaker will be Ms Ursula VON DER LEYEN, President of the European Commission. Prior to her current position, Ms von der Leyen held several positions in the German federal government, most recently serving as Federal Minister of Labor and Social Affairs and Federal Minister of Defence.
Please note that this event is by invitation only. However, a live stream will be available for those who wish to follow the ceremony remotely.
