EU Scheme for Young Professionals in Bosnia and Herzegovina – Training course on ‘EU Integration and Public Administration Reform’

We are pleased to announce that the two-week hybrid training on ‘EU Integration and Public Administration Reform’ for the EU Scheme for Young Professionals in BiH has come to an end on 25 February 2022.

Throughout this course, 25 civil servants from Bosnia and Herzegovina benefited from lectures, workshops, debates and speeches delivered by high-level trainers, speakers and officials from EU institutions and organisations, as well as national and local public administration from the EU and Western Balkans.

This course is part of the  reform initiatives aimed at building the capacity of civil servants initiated within the framework of a EU-funded regional programme for the Western Balkans. The College of Europe had been involved in the 2018 and 2019 editions of the regional programme and in the previous round for BiH in 2020. This year, the College of Europe facilitated the entire course that took place onsite in a hybrid format in Trebinje (first week) and in Neum (second week).

The College of Europe is grateful to the Delegation of the European Union to Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Directorate for European Integration (DEI) of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Public Administration Reform Coordinator’s Office (PARCO) and the British Council in Bosnia and Herzegovina and for their trust in the College to design and implement this course.

We thank again the participants and the trainers for making this year’s edition a success story!
