The College of Europe designs and delivers bespoke training programmes for a wide range of public and private organisations every year. It offers specific expertise to its clients and partners, and develops solutions to maximise the impact of training courses both at the organisational and individual levels.
In close cooperation with the partner organisation, we take into account its context and specific objectives following a unique and tailor-made learning approach, thus offering a training course carefully adapted to the participant’s professional needs. Different training methodologies are combined to guarantee a dynamic and interactive approach: workshops and case studies, simulation games, individual and collective feedback and active debates between lecturers and participants.
With a large experience in curriculum development and learning design and with the support of the College’s international network, we provide an outstanding range of professional development courses. Together with high-level networking possibilities in a unique setting, the training courses offer a genuinely European experience.
The programmes can be delivered in a variety of languages and can take place at the College of Europe premises in Bruges or anywhere in the world, or online.
The organisation is in the hands of a team Project Managers and Assistants at the Executive Education, Training & Projects Office. They take care of the analysis of the training needs, design of the training programmes, preparation of the course (in cooperation with the selected trainers) and logistical arrangements (e.g., accommodation, catering and social activities in Bruges and Brussels). They also provide continuous support during the implementation, co-facilitate the delivery of the training modules of both onsite and online courses and prepare a report on the rolling-out and outcomes of the training (including via the collection of feedback data from participants and trainers).
