On Monday 24 October, exactly two months after the earthquake in Central Italy, the College of Europe's Restaurant (with the precious coordination of Chef Hans BASTIAENSSENS) welcomed the fundraising event called "AMAtriciana for solidarity", organized by the Italian Society in Bruges. The College community participated numerously. Around 1300 euros were raised and many messages of solidarity were written. One of them says: "Shall we burry the sorrow with the stones of the earthquake, and shall we give space to love. We don't know each other, but we know about humanity! A little love for you, here, a little love for somebody else, there! This is how it works, we care and we help each other.”
