Christmas Dinner of the European Political and Administrative Studies Department

On 8th December 2015, the Student Representatives Veronika VARGOVÁ and Jani ERKKILÄ of the European Political and Administrative Studies Department organised a Christmas dinner for their fellow colleagues, as well as professors and the academic assistants.

The main objective of the dinner was to spend an informal evening together, to foster friendly relations within the department and to thank the academic staff for their efforts.

Students also exchanged Secret Santa Gifts, which was a nice gesture from all who participated, and it also contributed to a lovely and family-like atmosphere.

It was a nice occasion which helped the students to get a little break between exams, and which will hopefully turn into a tradition. The unofficial theme of the party was celebrating democracy in the EU, so apart from Christmas decorations, the students could also look at the pictures of all the EU member states' national Parliaments, as well as the European Parliament. The European Political and Administrative Studies Department is always working while having fun!
