On 19 June 2018, the students of the Bruges campus celebrated the end of the academic year in a special manner: with a College of Europe World Cup. Nine teams gave it their best to win the precious trophy. After an interesting group round, the Spanish team played against northern Italy in the first semi-final and the DACHLI team (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein) against southern Italy in the second one. Both matches had to be decided in penalty shootouts. In the end, DACHLI won the cup in the final against the northern Italian team.
The whole day was a great way to enjoy the exam-free period and the end of the year. Lots of students came along to compete, to support or just to enjoy the good atmosphere on the pitches.
