On 9 April 2018, a delegation of the College of Europe Young Diplomats student team were welcomed at the European External Action Service (EEAS) for a session of presentations by EU officers. From the latest advances in security and defence to the implementation of the European Union Global Strategy (EUGS), the students had an operational overview of the role and priorities of the EEAS in Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP) and Common Security and Defense Policy (CSDP).
