18 February 2020 – The European Green Deal was at the heart of the discussions with Mrs Miriam DALLI, Vice-Chair of the S&D group, during the first study trip of the PES Students Society.
We had the opportunity to visit the S&D office and the European Parliament in Brussels. The main aim of the visit was to have an open exchange about Europe’s future and how to change Europe towards more equal society and to develop a sustainable economy.
We were happy to exchange as well with high-level S&D representatives such as Mr Michael HOPPE, Secretary General of the S&D Group, Mrs Utta TUTTLIES, head of communication and spokesperson of the S&D group, and with Mr Peter RUSZ, head of website, events and publications.
The PES Students Society brings together social democratic and progressive students at the College of Europe. The group aims at taking forward a progressive European vision with solidarity as well as social and territorial cohesion at its core.
