Chapter publication in the edited volume ‘Meandering in Transition: Thirty Years of Reforms and Identity in Post-Communist Europe’ by Dr TYUSHKA

Dr Andriy TYUSHKA, Senior Research Fellow in the European Neighbourhood Policy Chair at the College of Europe in Natolin, has just published a chapter in the edited volume ‘Meandering in Transition: Thirty Years of Reforms and Identity in Post-Communist Europe’ (Lexington Books by Rowman & Littlefield, 2021).

The chapter draws on his previous journal article publication and addresses the puzzle of democratic transition resilience in the context of the Central and Eastern European countries’ simultaneous transformation, European integration, and state-building agendas. Framed by the ‘EU member state building' perspective, this chapter enquires into both constitutional, administrative, judicial, and not least identitarian dimensions of the CEECs’ transformation over the past three decades on their way to the EU and their performance as EU member states.
