The European Training Centre for Railways (ETCR) Seminar on ‘EU Transport & Railway Affairs’ hosted in the Railway Gazette International

The Railway Gazette International, the leading provider of news, analysis and intelligence for the international railway industry, published an article in its May issue about the 56th edition of the Seminar on ‘EU Transport & Railway Affairs’ (1-12 July 2019), jointly organised by the College of Europe, the European Training Centre for Railways (ETCR) and the European Union Agency for Railways. The course is described as "a unique opportunity for participants to meet the decision makers and opinion formers driving EU railway policy, and to learn more about how the current regulatory framework impacts on the rail business from a variety of perspectives".

Focusing on its multifaceted programme covering a wide range of topics, such as customers and intermodal transport, through interactive presentations by internationally esteemed professionals of the European Transport Sector, the article pays also particular attention to the cultural diversity of the participants as well as to the experience gained by visits to the European Institutions, including the European Commission and the European Parliament, and to the city of Antwerp, one of Europe’s largest ports.

The College of Europe Development Office would like to thank the Railway Gazette International for this contribution.
