Tailor-made course on the EU for Taiwanese officials

During the first week of September, the College of Europe Development Office organised a tailor-made course for a delegation of twelve high-level officials from Taiwan, including the Minister of the Directorate-General of Personnel Administration (DGPA) of the Executive Yuan, Directors and Deputy Ministers.

The training programme started at the College of Europe where Ms Carme COLOMINA delivered a lecture on the EU Institutions and the fake news challenge that the EU is now facing. The programme moved to Brussels where the Delegation visited the EU institutions and was able to learn about the main EU policies and priorities. During the different sessions, participants discussed a variety of topics from human rights and ensuring gender balance in the work place, to climate, environment and digital transformation.
