Nicolas NIZOWICZ

Awarded the College of Europe's Geremek scholarship, Nicolas graduated in 2018. His Master’s Thesis was on piracy in Somalia and NATO’s operation ‘Ocean Shield’. Nicolas also holds a BA in History and an MA in History from Paris-Sorbonne University. Here, he specialised in Early Modern History and wrote a Master’s Thesis on the naval Battle of Lagos (August 16-18, 1759), a major engagement of the Seven Years’ War.
Currently, Nicolas pursues his researches in domains linked to maritime security and maritime affairs.
