Last week, Rector Federica MOGHERINI met with Federal Minister for the EU Karoline EDTSTADLER at the Permanent Representation of Austria to the EU to announce the reintroduction of scholarships for the Austrian applicants to the College of Europe as of the academic year 2022/2023.
Following the press conference and the announcement, Rector Federica MOGHERINI joined a reception with Austrian Alumni from the College of Europe. The Austrian College alumni community counts a number of inspiring people among its members. One of them is Alexander SCHALLENBERG, the current Chancellor of Austria. SCHALLENBERG studied at the College in 1996 (Walter Hallstein Promotion) and obtained his LL.M in European Law. We hope many Austrians will write their College of Europe story like he did.
The College would like to thank the Austrian Permanent Representation for organising this event and the Austrian government for giving bright students the opportunity to to come and study at the College of Europe.
