On Friday 19 November 2021, students had the opportunity to join the opening of the IBERDROLA Manuel Marin European Energy and Climate Policy Chair's academic year. After an introduction by Professor BUSCHLE and the students’ Energy Group, Mr. Stefano GRASSI (Head of Cabinet to Kadri Simson, European Commissioner responsible for Energy) and Ms. Eva CHAMIZO LLATAS (Director of EU Affairs and Head of the Brussels Office of Iberdrola) took the floor to discuss the achievements and challenges of European climate and energy policy.
After their presentations Mr. GRASSI and Ms. CHAMIZO LLATAS discussed and answered questions related to the COP26, hydrogen, and other topics related to the energy transition.
