Tailor-made training on EU negotiations for staff of the Permanent Representation of Finland to the EU

On 27 February, the College of Europe delivered a one-day tailor-made training on EU negotiations in Brussels for staff of the Permanent Representation of Finland to the EU. 

Throughout an intensive day, participants dove deep into the world of negotiations in the setting of the European Union. They: 

• Reflected on their personal negotiation style
• Explored key concepts in negotiations
• Deepened their understanding of negotiation skills and tactics
• Applied their newly acquired knowledge in a negotiation simulation set in a Council context 

Participants particularly appreciated the immediate relevance of the training to their everyday work and the sense of confidence and empowerment they took away from the experience.
