On 12 March 2014 the Department of European Political and Administrative Studies hosted the conference "EMU after the Crisis: Europe at Two Speeds". This conference considers the some of the major reforms undertaken by the EU over the last five years and how they impact European integration. Are the needs of non euro area countries similar to those in the euro area? Can there be negative spillovers as a result of further euro area integration? What other policies might be affected by the division between the euro area and non euro area members? What are the implications of such differentiated integration?
