On Thursday, 27 October 2022, the Digital and Security Nest at the College of Europe in Natolin organised a discussion with Ms Katarzyna SZYMIELEWICZ, Head of Panoptykon Foundation.
The meeting took the format of a discussion and was moderated by Dr Olaf OSICA, Digital and Security Nest mentor.

About the speaker:
Ms Katarzyna SZYMIELEWICZ is a lawyer specialised in human rights and technology. She is co-founder and president of Panoptykon Foundation – a Polish NGO defending human rights in the context of surveillance. Ms SZYMIELEWICZ is also Advisor to European Digital Rights (Brussels office) and member of Ashoka – international network of social entrepreneurs (since 2015). From 2011 to 2016 she was member of the Council for Digitisation in Poland, a statutory body advising the government.
