Dr Emile BADARIN, Research Fellow at the European Neighbourhood Policy Chair, recently published an essay entitled Afghanistan Beyond the Geopolitical Lens in Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen (Institute for Foreign Relations), a German intermediary organisation dedicated to international cultural exchange, based in Stuttgart and Berlin.
The essay reflects the author's views on the cultural dimensions and repercussions left by successive military interventions in Afghanistan, in the wake of the US retreat from the country in 2021.
