The main goal of this workshop was to show how knowledge of many languages has a propaedeutic value in learning a second, third, fourth (and so on...) foreign language. Esperanto, as an artificial language system, is an excellent tool to understand the systematic solutions of natural languages and to improve the metalinguistic reflection and language awareness of our students.
This workshop was dedicated to all students of the multilingual and multicultural community of Natolin. It was led by Dr Maciej JASKOT, Professor of Spanish language at the College of Europe in Natolin, linguist and Esperanto speaker.
Each participant received a special workbook with grammar and lexicon exercises that illustrate the structure of the Zamenhof language and make it possible to broaden the participants' linguistic horizons.
This workshop was organised by the Languages and Intercultural Dialogue Office (LIDO) at Natolin.
