Cérémonie d'ouverture de la soixantième année académique du Collège d'Europe, à Natolin (Varsovie)

The opening ceremony of the sixtieth academic year of the College of Europe, Natolin (Warsaw) campus, took place on Monday 7 December 2009.

Mr Toomas Hendrik Ilves, President of the Republic of Estonia, delivered the opening address entitled "Where are we 5 years after the EU enlargement?".

Mr Jacek Saryusz–Wolski, President of the Board of the Foundation College of Europe, Member of the European Parliament presided at the ceremony.

Mr Paul Demaret, Rector of the College of Europe, recalled Charles Darwin, Patron of the Promotion 2009-2010.
