Movie screening by the ENP Society: "Bitter Harvest" by George MENDELUK

On Friday, 23 November 2018, a new movie produced by the Ukrainian diaspora in Canada with the support of Germany, was screened at the Natolin campus in the framework of the ENP Society activities. Bitter Harvest (Holodomor), directed by George MENDELUK, is a powerful story of honor, rebellion and survival as seen through the eyes of two young lovers caught in the ravages of Joseph STALIN's genocidal policies against Ukraine in the 1930's. Before the screening, a member of the Society gave a short historical overview of what happened in the newly created Soviet Republic during 1922-1933 and discussed the 85th anniversary of the Holodomor famine.
