Media bias and armed conflict. A handbook of critical thinking while reporting war

In the framework of the new 2022 edition of the ETGN (European and Transnational Governance Network) project, the course "Media bias and armed conflict. A handbook of critical thinking while reporting war" is now open for registration.

During the course participants will be lead in the process of examining the role of media in reporting armed conflicts on the case studies of Nagorno-Karabakh and Ukraine. It will offer a unique opportunity to gain an insight into the challenges that media professionals face when reporting armed conflicts against the pressure from their governments and societies. The course will allow also to familiarise yourself with contemporary propaganda techniques and fact-checking tools.

This course comprises a self-study component followed by enriching, interactive, onsite sessions, which will be held at the premises of the College of Europe at Natolin between 7-8 November 2022 with the expert, Mr Dominik CAGARA.
