On 12 May 2021, the College of Europe Development Office hosted two keynote speeches, one in French and one in English, on the topic of “Climate and sustainability in the EU Global Strategy”. These two speeches were given by the Rector of the College of Europe and former High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/Vice President of the European Commission, Federica MOGHERINI. The participants were OCTA Secretariat staff and representatives of the various OCTA members worldwide – participants connected from the Caribbean, South-East Asia and the Indian Ocean.
The events were organised in the framework of the cooperation between the College of Europe and the Overseas Countries and Territories Association (OCTA) and build upon online training courses that the Development Office organised for OCTA in November and December 2020.
