We are proud to announce that the European and Global Studies Journal "De Europa", published by the Department of Cultures, Politics and Society at the University of Turin, has just released another special issue featuring six selected Master’s theses written by students of the College of Europe in Natolin.
The issue, which comes on the initiative of Professor Umberto MORELLI, is both a tribute to the close collaboration between the University of Turin and the College of Europe in Natolin, and the fruit of highly innovative work of the students of Natolin. The guest editor of this second special issue is Professor Georges MINK, Chairholder of the European Civilisation Chair. The theses published in this issue were presented in the academic year 2019-2020 for the degree of Advanced Master of Arts in European Interdisciplinary Studies.
They cover a wide range of topics, from the roots and perspectives on the European Union's soft power (Gabrielle BERNOVILLE), through the EU, state-building, norm- diffusion and contested states (Dafni ARGYRAKI), the jurisprudence of international tribunals (IMT and ICTY) (Federica WOELK), links between collective memory, politics of regret and crisis management in the European Union (Teun JANSSEN), the geopolitics of the Arctic and Sino-Russian relations in the region (Alexandru DEMIANENCO) to the British diplomatic policy towards Poland in 1980s (Robert SMITH).
