MENA Regional Day 2018 at Natolin

On 19 January 2018, the College of Europe, Natolin campus celebrated the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Regional Day, organized by the students of Algeria, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco and Tunisia. The day was marked by cultural activities, traditional music and distinctive gastronomy which raised the spirits of the Orient and Africa at the Natolin campus.

The Natolin restaurant served a wide variety of wonderful classic dishes such as Chorba frik, Makloub, Lamb Tagine and Falafel. Under the slogan: "One Night of a Thousand Nights", the evening event started with a presentation about MENA countries. Then, the artists Assef SALLOOM and Azzedine TARIFET sang lovely songs of the Maghreb region.

The participants could also discover the traditions of the MENA region through an African Fashion Exposition, games and henna tattoos.

The event was honored with the presence of representatives of the Embassies of Algeria, the Kingdom of Morocco, Tunisia and the United Arab Emirates in Poland, as well as students from Warsaw University, represented by "Merhaba" organisation.
