The Warsaw Security Forum (WSF), a leading European platform devoted to transatlantic cooperation and focused on elaborating shared responses to common security challenges, took place on 5 and 6 October 2021.
The WSF annual conference convenes over 1500 participants from 40 countries, heads of state, ministers, leading personalities of international and non-governmental organizations, high-ranking representatives from business, the media, academia, and civil society.
The students of the College of Europe in Natolin were invited to volunteer at the Warsaw Security Forum. The student volunteers; Katja-Elisabeth HERRMANN EUFRACIO, Guillemette LANO, Arnaud MADY, Viktoriia HLADII, Arnaud HURAULT DE VIBRAYE, Sofia SANCHEZ MANZANARO, Francois VILLARD, Yann RIEGEL, Nika GONGLIASHVILI, Xhorxhina MOLLA, Hanna BOIKO, Hugo CHOUARBI, Sara EPIFANIO, Sofia TORRES BIZOU and Hanna SALAUYOVA were dedicated to a variety of tasks including social media support, conference room supervision and VIP relations. At the end of their two-day duties, the students received a certificate at the closing ceremony of the WSF.
Some of the high-level speakers of this year WSF included EU Commissioner Maroš ŠEFČOVIČ, US General David H. PETREAUS, Former President of Estonia Toomas Hendrik ILVES, President of Poland Andrzej DUDA, Mayor of Warsaw and College of Europe in Natolin alumnus Rafał TRZASKOWSKI, and many more.
Warsaw Security Forum has been organized by the Casimir Pulaski Foundation, in strategic partnership with NATO, the National Security Bureau to the President of the Republic of Poland, and under the patronage of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland. The event is co-organized with the German Marshall Fund of the United States.
