Tomáš TATINEC

Tomáš TATINEC first joined the College of Europe in Natolin in 2013 in the role of Academic Assistant. In 2016 he became Coordinator of Operations and later Head of Academic Administration. After his tenure at the Slovak Ministry of Defence where he worked as Chief of Staff to the Deputy Minister of Defence among other positions, he now holds the position of Deputy Director General at the College of Europe in Natolin.

Tomáš studied political science, international relations, and European affairs at Sciences Po Paris, the University of Oxford (PPE), the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy (MALD) and the Harvard Kennedy School. At Sciences Po Paris, he graduated Summa Cum Laude and holds a Master of Arts degree in Public International Management.

Prior to joining the College, he had worked in project management, for a management consultancy and for the Academy of European Law. Apart from his native Slovak, Tomáš speaks English, French, Czech, Polish, and Spanish.
