Warsaw Euro-Atlantic Summer Academy (WEASA) 2024 launched at the College of Europe in Natolin

On Monday, 1 July 2024, the 12th edition of the Warsaw Euro-Atlantic Summer Academy (WEASA) was inaugurated at the College of Europe in Natolin under the theme:

"Seeking Momentum: Embracing Euro-Atlantic Integration in Times of Crises"

This year's edition was officially opened by the Vice-Rector of the College of Europe, Mrs Ewa OŚNIECKA-TAMECKA, who emphasised the importance of participants engaging in debate, exchanging experiences with their peers, and preparing their countries for integration.

The academic programme commenced with a keynote address by Mr Petras AUŠTREVIČIUS, Member of the European Parliament for Lithuania. His speech focused on revitalising Euro-Atlantic integration during challenging times, followed by a stimulating Q&A session.

WEASA 2024 brings together a diverse group of 35 participants, including public officials, journalists, analysts, diplomats, and civic activists from the Eastern Partnership and the Western Balkans.
