Christian EGENHOFER

Christian Egenhofer (DE) is Associate Senior Fellow and Director of CEPS Energy Climate House, a Brussels-based think tank specialising on energy, environment and resources. 

He is also Visiting Professor at the Paris School of International Affairs at SciencesPo (Paris) and Guido Carli LUISS University in Rome. Paris. Past university teaching assignments have included the Solvay Business School at the Université Libre de Bruxelles and in the European Economic Studies Department at the College of Europe. From 1999 to 2010, he was a Senior Research Fellow and Jean-Monnet Lecturer at the Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy at the University of Dundee in Scotland/UK.  

He holds a Master's degree in Administration from the University of Konstanz as well as a Public Law degree. He has worked as a consultant both for private and public organisations, including various Directorates-General of the European Commission, the European Parliament, the World Business Council for Sustainable Development and the International Network for Environmental Compliance and Enforcement. 
Christian Egenhofer is member of several editorial boards. His most recent books include “The Ever-Changing Union” (2011) published in its second edition and currently being revised and “Climate Change and Trade”, published jointly with Daniel Gros in 2010.
