Gill Allwood (UK) est professeur de Gender Politics à la Nottingham Trent University, au Royaume-Uni. Elle y a été responsable des études européennes entre 2003 et 2015, et est actuellement directrice des études doctorales à la School of Arts and Humanities. Elle a reçu en 2020 le prix du Vice Chancellor’s Outstanding Researcher Award. Elle a écrit de nombreuses publications sur l’égalité des sexes et l’action extérieure de l’UE, en particulier dans les domaines du développement, de la migration et du changement climatique (voir la liste complètes de ses publications). Elle a travaillé avec CONCORD sur la conception et l’écriture d’un rapport sur la mise en œuvre et l’impact du deuxième plan d’action sur l’égalité des sexes (GAPII) et ella a co-écrit un rapport sure la mise en œuvre de l’Agenda 2030 pour le Parlement européen. Elle a été éditeur du Journal of Contemporary European Studies de 2014 à 2018, et fait partie du conseil consultatif international du Journal of Politics and Gender.
