Workshop on Consent and Boundaries for Natolin students

On Saturday, 17 September 2022, the Natolin students of the David Sassoli promotion participated in a Consent and Boundaries workshop. These activities are held at the beginning of each academic year at Natolin and constitute a fundamental basis for learning about barriers, consent, and interpersonal relationships.

The workshop was led by the expert Ms Martyna MARKIEWICZ, a diversity and anti-discrimination trainer. With more than 20 years of experience in the social sector, cooperating with various organizations, companies, institutions, and groups, Ms MARKIEWICZ prepared this training for the 130 students of the College of Europe in Natolin.

The interactive design of the workshop allowed the students to exchange and express their views freely while acquiring new knowledge regarding consent, harassment, and boundaries. The activity became a space for reflection for the students, which expressed their concerns and thoughts about this topic. Moreover, the workshop explained clearly how to give consent and act when they see potentially dangerous situations.

This workshop has become a pillar of the wellbeing-related offer at Natolin and is deemed to be one of the most important ones for improving campus life, according to the students.
