On 3 March 2014, Mr Piotr IWASZKIEWICZ, Lecturer at the Historical Institute of Warsaw University, gave an introductory lecture on the history of Georgia. The lecture was part of a preparatory programme for the Voltaire students taking part in the study trip to Georgia, that ran from 17 until 23 March 2014. This event was for students only.

       

Mr Piotr IWASZKIEWICZ works for the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Currently he is the Head of the Department of Central Asia and the Caucasus. He was a member of the OSCE missions in Nagorno-Karabakh, Georgia and Turkmenistan.
