Christian Egenhofer (DE) is a Senior Fellow at the Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS), a Brussels-based think tank specialising in EU affairs, where he is head of the Energy, Climate and Environment Programme.
He holds a Master's degree in Administration from the University of Konstanz as well as a Public Law degree. He has worked as a consultant both for private and public organisations, including various Directorates-General of the European Commission, the European Parliament, the World Business Council for Sustainable Development and the International Network for Environmental Compliance and Enforcement. He is also a Senior Research Fellow and Jean-Monnet Lecturer at the Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy at the University of Dundee in Scotland/UK (since 1999) and teaches courses at Solvay Business School of Université Libre de Bruxelles and at the LUISS in Rome.
Christian Egenhofer is member of several editorial boards. His most recent publications include Beyond Bali: Strategic Issues of the Global Climate Change Negotiations (editor, CEPS 2008) and Climate and Trade Policy (co-editor with Carlo Carraro, Edward Elgar Publishing, 2007).
