The scope of application of the Regulation
The processing of personal data at the College is governed by the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46 / EC (General Data Protection Regulation); hereinafter referred to as the “Regulation”.
Data administrator
The College of Europe, Natolin Campus, is the administrator of personal data and an entity that processes data on behalf of other data administrators. Pursuant to the Regulation, the data administrator and the data processor are responsible for compliance with the principles of personal data protection.
Data Protection Officer
Pursuant to Art. 37 sec. 1 of the Regulation, the College appointed a Data Protection Officer. Data subjects may contact the data protection inspector in all matters related to the processing of their personal data and the exercise of their rights under the Regulation.
In order to enable contact with the Data Protection Officer, a dedicated e-mail address has been created: iodo.pl@coleurope.eu
Data subjects may also contact the data protection inspector in writing to the address of the College with the annotation “To: Data Protection Officer”; College of Europe, Natolin Campus; Nowoursynowska 84; 02-797 Warsaw; Poland
The data protection inspector ensures full confidentiality of communication with data subjects. Pursuant to Art. 38 sec. 5 of the Regulation, the data protection inspector is obliged to maintain secrecy or confidentiality with regard to the performance of his or her tasks – in accordance with EU law or the law of a Member State.
