On Friday the 25th of March, Executive Vice President of the European Commission for 'A Europe Fit for the Digital Age' and the European Commissioner for Competition Margrethe VESTAGER visited our Bruges campus for a discussion on 'Gender Equality in Europe'. This event organised by the Student Association for Gender Equality (SAGE) was the very first initiative in the framework of the 'The Bold Talks' series.
Danish Commissioner VESTAGER discussed her professional and political career, the fields she is working in, but most importantly the gender bias therein and challenges she has observed and faced over the years. After her address, our distinguished guest speaker took the time to answer questions from the students of the Éliane Vogel-Polsky Promotion.
