The first edition of our Executive Education course on ‘European Defence & Security’ was implemented online from the 29th September until the 1st October. It analysed how the EU is boosting its ambitions, efforts, and tools to address rapidly evolving security challenges both within European and outside its borders.
The EU has recently extensively increased its commitment and initiatives in defence matters and more developments are expected for the coming years.
When asked “Overall, how satisfied were you with the course?” our first participants gave a 5-star score (on a scale of 1 to 5). They notably praised the course for helping them increase their understanding of the CSDP and of new threats and possible responses and for helping them identify the main partners of the EU in the field of Security and Defence. They have also highly appreciated the booster format of 3 days to have a better understanding of this most accurate topic that is European Defence and Security.
This brand new course was a unique opportunity to get a thorough understanding and practical approach of how the EU is trying to address and prioritise this key topic and the key partners involved. We would like to thank all our trainers for their valuable work and a special thank you to our Rector, Ms. Federica Mogherini for answering questions from our participants.
We are looking forward to the next edition in 2022, stay tuned!
