With the second semester coming to an end, the Charity group would like to thank the students and staff for the great year!
'Fun for Charity’ is not just our name but also our motto; provide fun activities for everyone at the College and raise money for La Plateforme Citoyenne de Soutien aux Refugiés. We started off our year with a ‘Run for Charity’ at which four College students raised an amazing 460€!
For Christmas we warmed students’ and refugees’ hearts with candles and cookies. The demand was overwhelming! You wouldn’t have thought we had exams when you saw us wrapping speculoos and waffles in the canteen all afternoon.
For Valentine’s day the Charity group played cupid’s angels. The magic continued with the Harry Potter Pub Quiz and very impressive bilingual winners!
As a farewell we dug out that postbox again to collect the thanks and goodbyes students wished to send.
We would also like this to be a big, heartfelt THANK YOU for all of your support which allowed us to raise a total of € 1023,80 over the course of this year (until the date of writing)!!
It was definitely fun for Charity!
