The Student Association for Gender Equality (SAGE) of the College of Europe joins forces with the City of Bruges and Bruges Student City to organize an International Women's Day campaign. In order to fight gender inequality together, the SAGE student team of our Bruges campus will create a 'Wall For Equality' on Instagram containing and highlighting your pictures and videos. "This March 8th, women and men will not be able to demonstrate together physically. That is why we want to address the impact of COVID-19 on women as well as other inequalities they face. Even though COVID affects our ability to demonstrate, we must show our support to women who are still in vulnerable situations around the world. We want to demonstrate that #WeAreHere", the members of SAGE explain. How to support and participate in the IWD 2021 campaign?
- Take a picture or a short video for International Women's Day before 8 March or tag us in your post.
- Send your picture/video to firstname.lastname@example.org answering the questions: -What do you want to advocate for in this year's International Women's day? -What are your ideas to make the world a better place for women?
- Your picture/video will be shared in the Instagram wall @sage_collegeofeurope to raise awareness.
