Visit of AFD with DevCoE

The DevCoE (Development team of the College of Europe) student team visited on January 17th the French Development Agency (AFD) to discuss the role of a bilateral development agency and its relationship with the European institutions. The AFD answered to the questions of the students about development policies, the impact of Brexit, the raise and impacts of new actors (i.e. China, India).

The aim of DevCoE is to raise awareness about development policies in the EU. This year the students are exploring all the actors working on cooperation and development and tries to share their views, knowledge and experience on the topic. Several activities are organised, such as conferences and meetings with organisations and institutions. 

The next event will be held in Bruges and open to the public. On February 27th come to attend the conference on the impacts of the textile industriy organised along with the NGO Fashion Revolution. More.
