Catering & hotel services in times of disruption

The catering and housekeeping staff have been working extra hard to make sure that the College of Europe students in Bruges are looked after during these days of lock down and disruption.

All students are being served breakfast as usual in the residences and since 14 March, students have been getting take-out meals from the college restaurant to eat in their residences, in order to respect correct social distancing rules. It has been quite a change seeing staff wearing masks! But the spirit of the college means that all the new rules have been followed and student safety, as well as staff safety, has been paramount.

All residences have now been provided with extensive kitchen equipment too: fridges, microwaves and cooking elements.

Essential cleaning is maintained and even extended in some cases.

And students have been served treats in the form of locally made rice tarts and muffins! Very much appreciated!

Staff are explaining daily the rules and regulations of the authorities, so all students are aware.
