Italian Ambassador to Belgium joins students during Italian language course

On Monday 18 January 2021, the Italian Ambassador to Belgium, Mrs Elena BASILE, joined the students of our College of Europe Bruges campus, Rector Federica MOGHERINI and Director of the Italian Cultural Institute of Brussels, Mr Paolo SABBATINI, during the morning Italian language course 'Legal and Political Italian', taught by Professor Maria Cristina COCCOLUTO.  

"I did not want to miss the appointment with Professor COCCOLUTO and her students who will have such an interesting meeting with Rector MOGHERINI. The teaching of Italian abroad and the Italian culture in general is a fundamental asset of our foreign policy. The presence of Italian students and the government contribution to one of the most prestigious European academic institutions is an important participation to the process of the EU construction, related also to the shaping of a young generation of Europeans, students who share the same cultural heritage and values", Ambassador BASILE expresses her satisfaction.
