Online courses under the Framework Contract "Consultancy services to support learning and development of EU staff"

As part of the efforts to ensure continuity of activities, the College of Europe Development Office moved a number of training courses, part of the Framework Contract "Consultancy services to support learning and development of staff employed by the European Union Institutions, bodies and agencies", online.

In particular, on Tuesday 5 May 2020, Prof. Dr. Hans GEEROMS delivered an online training course focused on the economic situation that we are living in, the consequences of COVID-19 on the economy and the measures put in place by the European Commission to face the challenges ahead. Despite of being the first course with this format, participants were highly engaged throughout the whole course, asking questions and showing enthusiasm for the insights into the current economic scenario.

In parallel, starting from the afternoon of Monday 4 May 2020 and for 6 half-days spread across 8 days, Prof. Christian RITTER delivered a training course on "Art and Science of Descriptive Statistics". With around 15 participants per session, Prof. RITTER alternated lecturing and exercises. Thanks to a short tour de table at the beginning of each session, participants had a chance to meet and greet each other, ensuring a high level of engagement and interactions.

Our online journey under this Framework Contract has just started and will continue for the upcoming weeks, with an always wider and improved offer.
