43 staff members of our College of Europe participated in the Test Caravan, an interesting campaign offered by the Province of West Flanders which encourages commuters to be more green.

Between Monday March 25 and Friday April 5, 26 colleagues showed their green as well as sporty side as they accepted the challenge to try out a new and free means of transport in the shape of e-bikes and carrier cycles. Other people made use of bus, train and blue bike passes.

Of course, the start and end of the campaign was the ideal moment to take some pictures of our excited and curious employees of the College of Europe. They certainly all look ready for the challenge!

Last Friday, the same staff members gathered for a closing ceremony in the foyer at Verversdijk for a delicious breakfast. It was also the moment to return the test bikes. Some colleagues will surely miss them! The appearance of a special guest in the form of former professional road cyclist Nico MATTAN added a special touch.

For our colleague Sylvie ERDOS there was an extra pleasant surprise, as she was the winner of the prize pool. She won a Decathlon gift voucher, worth 250 euros. Congratulations Sylvie!

Furthermore, Sara HURTEKANT, Leticia VICARIO and Cynthia DELERUE received a cycle bag, while Ann VAN VOOREN, Elke VAN DE KERCKHOVE and Michèle DEBAECKE were rewarded with a gift coupon.
