Webex

On 16 February 2022, the CJEU rendered its judgments in Cases C-156/21, Hungary v Parliament and Council, and C-157/21, Poland v Parliament and Council. This concerns actions for annulment of Regulation 2020/2092 which introduces a mechanism to protect the Union budget against breaches of the principles of the rule of law by Member States.

A webinar in form of a panel discussion takes place in Bruges on 24 February 2022 (16.00-18.10) and is organised by the European Legal Studies Department of the College of Europe jointly with EU Law Live. The webinar is devoted to discussing the content and consequences of the judgments, in the context of the EU legal and political order more generally.
