The Chair of Transatlantic Trade and Economy convened a high-level discussion on the future of transatlantic relations during a pivotal year marked by elections on both sides of the Atlantic. The event brought together Rosa Balfour, Director of Carnegie Europe, and Charles Kupchan, Senior Fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations and Professor of International Affairs at Georgetown University, for a wide-ranging exchange on the challenges and opportunities facing the transatlantic partnership. 

Moderated by Dan Michaels, Brussels Bureau Chief of The Wall Street Journal, and introduced by Ian Lesser, Chair of Transatlantic Trade and Economy, the discussion examined how political developments in Europe and the United States could shape cooperation on diplomacy, security, trade, and global governance.
