Next week, we are hosting the expert panel discussion “Safeguarding Civic Space: Role of Civil Society in the EU Accession Process”.
The role of civil society organisations in shaping democratic transformation during the EU accession process cannot be overstated.
As future European leaders, our students are gaining firsthand insights into the essential contributions of CSOs to societal resilience, accountability, and sustainability of reforms.
Our panellists, experts in civil society development and EU enlargement, will discuss the role of civil society in building a resilient, democratic future for candidate countries.
As part of the course "Organised Civil Society, Advocacy, and Lobbying in Southeastern Europe” starting next week, our students will also have the opportunity to develop practical policy advocacy skills and gain in-depth understanding of challenges of societal transformation on the way to the EU.
College of Europe – Tirana Campus is funded by the European Union.
