Roundtable on EU External Energy Policy with the Cabinet of Commissioner Simson and Ambassador Bartuska- Conference of the IBERDROLA Manuel Marín Energy and Climate Chair

On Friday 29 April, Ms. Annikky LAMP, Member of Cabinet and Communication advisor at the Cabinet of Commissioner Simson, and Mr. Vaclav BARTUSKA Ambassador-at-Large for Energy Security of the Czech Republic, visited the College of Europe (Bruges campus) for an exchange with the students on EU External Energy Policies. In particular, the discussion enabled students and professors of the College to give an input to the upcoming Strategy of the European Commission on EU External Energy Policy, which will be presented later in May

The event was held in a roundtable format over lunch in the Salon Madariaga at the Garenmarkt building of the College of Europe in Bruges. The participants to the roundtable will now send their written inputs to the Cabinet regarding the Communication on EU External Energy Policy ("European strategy on international energy engagement").

The event was organised by the IBERDROLA Manuel Marín Chair for European Energy and Climate Policies, housed by the Political and Governance Studies Department of the College.
